Notice on standardizing the registration certificate of electronic work

In order to properly solve the problems in the process of issuing and making the registration certificate of the current electronic work, to provides conveniences and guarantee for making and issuing electronic work registration certificates over the internet, in accordance with the provisions of the copyright law of China and the Tentative Measures for voluntary registration of works, we hereby notify you of the relevant matters concerning the registration certificate of electronic work:
Article 1, the State Copyright Administration and the provincial copyright administrative departments shall be the registration authorities for electronic works，In accordance with the relevant provisions, you can entrust qualified unit to deal with the work for registration, including producing and issuing electronic version of registration certificate of work
Article 2, the legal effect is identical to the registration certificates issued by each work registration institution of electronic work. The egistration certificate of electronic work issued by the work registration organ, is identical with the legal validity of the printed version of the same work.
Article 3, electronic version of registration certificate for work must be issued under State Copyright Bureau’s notice“Notice on standardizing registration certificate of work”. It’s strictly forbidden to modify any part of it. Samples of electronic works registration certificates must be downloaded from the National Copyright Administration website（http://www.ncac.gov.cn/chinacopyright/contents/483/276158.html/contents/483/276158.html）
Article 4, according to the provisions of the judicial, customs and other authorities or relevant obligee’s request, Works registration authority must issue both electronic and physical document.
Article 5, electronic registrations of work are incorporated into the national work registration information statistics system, the same work’s electronic certificate and physical document statistic as one.
Article 6, This notice shall be applicable to electronic certificate commissioned by the work registration institution
Article 7, any work certificate violates the National Copyright Administration’s official notice“Notice on standardizing work registration certificate”（National Edition[2016] No.1） is all null and void.
This notice shall come into force as of the date of promulgation, the registration authorities and the relevant units shall conscientiously carry out the procedures，Relevant information shall be reported to the State Copyright Bureau in time.
